I&#039;ve known two people that put it down because of that very reason, and my own father who&#039;s a retired journalist and has absolutely no problem dropping the occasional F-Bomb, even admitted that while he loved the book, he could have gone without &quot;so many G.D.s&quot; (he wouldn&#039;t even say the word out loud!).Ah, superstition.
